The Spark Moon was developed using the advanced technology of Planet Magica, and it was specifically designed so that even Princia Ramode could post decent results in her first Grand Prix attempt. To avoid any risk of injury to Princia during the race, the most cutting-edge safety systems were installed. The artificial-intelligence database implemented into this machine was formulated with control-technique data from the most famous F-Zero pilots in history. |
Design and namesake
Design
The Spark Moon's design goes by a distinct aerodynamic and stylish look. The fuselage consists of a rounded nose with an oval cockpit and an upward slanted rear branching off into two different drag slopes. The back contains two engines connected to the body by vented connectors taking on a hydrofoil design. Both engines have cone tips and a small fin on top. The backside remains uncovered revealing some of the machine's inner components. The machine is primarily yellow with orange detailing, fins and connectors.
Name
The Spark Moon combines the words spark, a small fiery or electric particle and moon, a natural satellite.
Correlation
The yellow color of Spark Moon is meant to reflect on the spark aspect as both types are typically yellow in color. The moon aspect isn't as strongly related. It's primarily related to F-Zero's space theme while also relating to moons not having a perfectly rounded appearance.
