The famous head mogul of the universal traders, Don Genie (ドン ジーニー, Don Jīnī[?]) is extremely rich. As such, he has developed an extremely narcissistic attitude and views other humans with contempt. Despite his riches, he has been arrested multiple times for his illegal trade of energy resources and weapons. For each arrest he has had to pay a small fortune to be freed and allowed to walk.
He recently became an F-Zero pilot. He spent a fortune purchasing the Fat Shark. It is unknown what his reasons for joining are, but it may be to promote his trading company. He himself has stated that controlling F-Zero will be his largest investment of all. He has little respect for his fellow pilots (though he thinks Captain Falcon has potential), and it is believed that Don has connections to Black Shadow. Despite all of this, however, Mr. Zero is not afraid of him.

F-Zero GX / AX
Don Genie and the Fat Shark are available to play as at the start of F-Zero AX, whereas he must be unlocked in F-Zero GX by completing Chapter 4 of Story mode on Very Hard, followed by purchasing the character.

| Don Genie is the famous head of universal traders. He has been arrested several times for secretly trading in energy resources and weapons. Each time he's arrested, he's forced to pay a small fortune in bail to get himself free. At this time, it's unknown whether Don is participating in the F-ZERO races because he wants to publicize his trading company, or whether it's for fun. One thing's for sure, though--it must be related to some sinister gambling ploy he's put together. It's rumored that Don Genie has some connections with Black Shadow, the emperor of evil. | ||||||

Trivia
- While the name Don may be short for Donald, it may also be derived from mafia don, a leader of an organized crime family. It is also possible that don is his title, rather than his first name.
