Twist Plate

Twist Plates are hazards that twist a machine around between 135 and 180 degrees left or right within a second of it driving over the hazard. The pilot has to compensate for this effect as soon as possible by turning around because they could collide with on-coming racers. This is a very disorienting stage hazard. These hazards are unique to F-Zero: Maximum Velocity and its Empyrean Colony locale.
