Draq is the pilot of the Mighty Typhoon, and works with Roger Buster in an intergalactic delivery service. Though he was temporarily involved with Dark Million, this was only to protect Roger.

History

F-Zero Farukon Densetsu (Anime)

2201

Draq first appeared in Lap 10, as Roger Buster's partner in their delivery service. However, Draq had been forced to work with Dark Million in order to prevent Miss Killer from harming Roger. By the end of the episode, Draq had come clean to Roger, and the two reconciled.

2202

In Lap 45, Draq and Roger were kidnapped by Zoda for questioning pertaining to their recent deliveries to a base on the planet Lightning. Though the two offered no responses, Zoda snatched their list. Draq let it slip that he and Roger both knew Ryu Suzaku, and that Ryu would come to their rescue. After being held captive in a cell, they were unknowingly freed by Miss Killer, and would assist Ryu on the way to the base.

F-Zero GP Legend (GBA game)

Draq is a playable character with his machine, the Mighty Typhoon. He is not featured in the Story Mode.

(DeepL Translation): As the partner of Roger Buster, the deliveryman, Draq is in charge of their transport ship. He is an avid F-Zero fan and had dreamed of participating for a long time. Two years ago, he and Roger had discovered two machines with unknown recipients, and decided to borrow the machines.

Note: It is not known what is meant by "two years ago" as Climax has no real time placement, and its pilot bios contradict what was already established in the anime or borrow information from F-Zero GX. Even in doing so, F-Zero GX states that the Mainverse Roger and Draq had come across their universe's machines one year prior, referring to a short time before the opening of the F-Zero X Grand Prix.

Trivia

  • Animeverse Draq's supposed love of F-Zero was never brought up in the anime, only the fact that he and Roger came across two F-Zero machines one day and decided to race with them to find the original owners. Because F-Zero Climax is a game loosely based on the anime and various pilot profiles borrow elements of F-Zero GX's pilot profiles, it is possible that this was yet another borrowed element that only applies to F-Zero Climax.
