FZFW:Beastman (Anime)
- This article is about the Anime Universe Beastman. For his Main Universe counterpart, see Beastman.
Template:Character Beastman is the pilot of the Hyper Speeder, and is a beast hunter. He first appeared in Lap 27 - Beast Hunter.
Personality
Unlike his Mainverse counterpart, the Anime Universe Beastman is cold and stoic. He takes his job seriously and will pursue any beast to the bitter end, but he managed to make an exception for Leon, albeit somewhat reluctantly. After the race, he allowed Leon to walk free despite the fact that Leon had been the beast that Beastman was pursuing.
History
F-Zero Farukon Densetsu (Anime)
2202
Making his first and only anime appearance in Lap 27, Beastman was a beast hunter whose family had been attacked by a beast from Leon's species sometime ago.[1] He was also in pursuit of Bio Rex.[1] Though he had been temporarily working with the Elite Mobile Task Force, his brash and lone-wolf attitude were often sources of conflict between him and the Task Force.[1] As Beastman often went off on his own, Ryu Suzaku was assigned to keep an eye on him.[1]
The two eventually came across Leon again, albeit Beastman saw the wolf-Leon, and Ryu saw the human-Leon after Beastman went off on his own again.[1] During the race later on, after Leon blew his human cover by becoming a beast in order to save Lucy Liberty from her overturned machine, Beastman approached the beast.[1] However, Ryu stepped in between the two.[1] After the confrontation, Beastman changed his mind and allowed Leon to walk free so long as the two would never cross paths.[1]
F-Zero GP Legend (GBA game)
In the F-Zero GP Legend GBA game, Beastman is a playable character with his machine, the Hyper Speeder. He is not featured in the Story Mode.

Trivia
- Unlike his Mainverse counterpart, the Animeverse Beastman possesses a gun as well as a whip.
- Beastman's helmet design is also quite different from his Mainverse counterpart; instead of having a somewhat see-through face shield and being modeled after the biggest beast he fought, Animeverse Beastman's face shield is closer in appearance to Captain Falcon's, and judging by the teeth, seems to represent a snake rather than a crocodilian lifeform.
