Black Shadow #4 is Black Shadow's fourth mission of the story in F-Zero: GP Legend. The mission takes place in Lightning and runs concurrently with Captain Falcon #5.

Story

Black Shadow appears and taunts Captain Falcon. When Captain Falcon demands Black Shadow to return Dr. Clash, Black Shadow challenges Captain Falcon to a race.

When the race ends, Black Shadow attacks Captain Falcon, sending him off the track. In a city with Black Shadow's portrait to show off his victory, Black Shadow boasts about himself, saying Captain Falcon is no more and no one is capable of beating him.

Mission

Course map

The mission takes place on Lightning: Volute. It is a standard five-lap race with twenty-two participants, Black Shadow starting in third. The objective is to simply finish in first place.

Dialogue

Prologue

Black Shadow: "Heh heh heh…"

Black Shadow: "Falcon, you look pale! What's wrong?"

Black Shadow: "AAH HA HA HAAH!"

Captain Falcon: "So! Black Shadow."

Captain Falcon: "Return Clash to me this instant!"

Captain Falcon: "I know you're the one that abducted him! Hand him over!"

Black Shadow: "Let's make a deal, Pigeon! Er...Falcon!"

Black Shadow: "If you were able to beat me...in a race, that is…"

Black Shadow: "Ha! Impossible! Bring it, Falcon!"

Epilogue

Black Shadow: "Heh heh heh…"

Black Shadow: "Arrogant fool! You lose, Falcon!"

Black Shadow: "Do you see that? Your Captain Falcon lost brutally!"

Black Shadow: "I'm the emperor of the universe!!! Black Shadow!!!"

Black Shadow: "Your beloved hero is no more!!!"

Black Shadow: "All of you, bow before me now!!!"

Black Shadow: "I have no equal!"

Black Shadow: "There's not a soul in this universe to threaten me!"
